Riddims, Raps and Melodies at Calisomnia Chills

The art space has started 2025 on a high note, with inter-genre concerts showcasing a growing wave of youth-driven synergy.

On March 29, Calisomnia Chills returns to Moto Republik with Riddims, Raps & Melodies, an event set to amplify Zimbabwe’s dynamic music culture. Dancehall powerhouses Ndunge Yut and Queen Khadija will wave the Zimdancehall flag, while the energetic Fire Ghetto adds to the chanting frenzy. King of Trap Dancehall, K Cool, is also gearing up to make a statement.

A strong melody ensemble featuring Trevor Dongo, Mr Moreni, and Shayne will deliver the soulful touch, complementing a day filled with games and vibrant energy. Hip-hop will be well represented, with award-winning rapper Mike Cibeh and Acid adding lyrical fire to the mix.

Hosted by multi-award-winning artist and promoter Noble Stylz, the event is free, a strategic move to celebrate and elevate emerging talent. Moto Republik, known for nurturing innovative creative spaces, continues its legacy as a hub for groundbreaking events, having also incubated Shebeen Fest and WarGames.
